The steel skeleton of a new mixed-use development is now taking form at the corner of Vermont Avenue and James M. Wood Boulevard in Koreatown.

The five-story building, designed by Archeon Group, calls for a Zion Market at its ground level, with structured parking and approximately 22,000 square feet of commercial space located above.

Directly across James M. Wood Boulevard, Jamison Services recently filed plans to construct a six-story building featuring 193 apartments and 20,000 square feet of retail space on a currently undeveloped lot.

Both properties were previously part of a scuttled development proposal that would have also featured apartments and ground-floor commercial space.
