In the Arts District, the London-based private club Soho House is hard at work on its third Los Angeles area location.

The project, dubbed Soho Warehouse, repurposes a former industrial building at 1000 S. Santa Fe Avenue with a mix of uses that includes event space, a restaurant, a gym, 48 hotel rooms, and a roof deck.

Santa Monica-based KFA Architecture is designing the adaptive reuse project.

An adjoining property at 2159 Bay Street is slated for redevelopment as part of a mixed-use campus featuring offices, apartments, and retail.

Elsewhere in the Arts District, another old warehouse is also poised for redevelopment as a private club.  Specifically, British real estate firm Es4te Four Capital hopes to expand upon a 1920s building at 2nd and Vignes Streets.
