Just north of Olympic Boulevard in Koreatown, construction is underway for a new apartment complex at a site that was previously developed with two duplexes.

The property, located at 951-955 S. Fedora Street, is approved for the construction of a six-story edifice featuring 60 studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments - including six low- and very low-income affordable units - above 75 parking stalls located at-grade and in one basement level.

City records indicate that the project is being designed by Beverly Hills architecture firm West Pacifica Design.

The property was Project applicant Imanoel Davodpour originally sought to entitle the property in 2015 as a small five-story, 40-unit development using density bonus incentives.  However, following the adoption of the Transit Oriented Communities affordable housing incentives in 2017, he resubmitted plans for the larger 60-unit development which is now under construction.

The project site is located one block west of Kenmore Avenue, where Jamison Services, Inc. is in the midst of build-out on a similar multifamily residential complex.
