Construction is about to begin for another small lot subdivision in Glassell Park.

Earth movers are on site at a now-vacant lot at 3409 N. Fletcher Driver, where Irvine-based real estate firm Calcagnie Group has secured approvals for the construction of 17 single-family dwellings.
The project, which replaced three houses, will consist of three-story structures in four different floor plans ranging from 1,826 to 2,806 square feet in size. Conceptual renderings depict the houses with contemporary designs - each including a two-car garage at street-level and an amenity deck on the rooftop.
Calcagnie is also behind a similar eight-house small lot subdivision in Highland Park.

The Glassell Park project sits directly across Fletcher Drive from another project with 18 single-family homes which is already under construction.
