Foundation work has commenced for a new residential-retail complex at the corner of 74th Street and La Tijera Boulevard in Westchester.

The mixed-use building, which comes from the real estate firm Steelwave, will consist of a four-story building featuring 140 residential units above approximately 2,600 square feet of ground-floor retail space and parking for 240 vehicles.  A information page from the developer's website describes a mixture of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, in addition to amenities such as a swimming pool, a landscaped courtyard and a fitness center.

The project's design team includes design architect Togawa Smith Martin and the landscape specialist LA Group Design Works.

Los Angeles-based Trical originally entitled the property for development.
