A mixed-use development featuring housing and street-fronting retail is now taking shape on a formerly vacant site in Hawthorne.
The project, located at 3670 W. Imperial Highway, consists of six- and two-story buildings. The completed project is slated to feature 48 residential units and nearly 14,000 square feet of street-fronting commercial space.
Property records indicate that the development site is owned by an entity called 3670 Imperial Hwy, LLC. The address of the limited liability company is a nearby gas station, and its manager is listed as Mohamad Pournamdari.
The project is located on the northern half of an L-shaped property. The same entity previously developed a six-story, 72-unit residential complex on the southern half of the site.
