The four-story structure, located at 900 Wilshire Boulevard, was originally built with as a nondescript stucco exterior in the late 1990s. The redesign by Los Angeles-based architecture firm Struere has resulted in a new glass exterior with metal framing.
Perimeter balconies now rap the building's upper floors, creating indoor-outdoor spaces for tenants.
The project also included a renovation of the building's main lobby, as well as the addition of an exposed colonnade along its ground-level exterior.
Sterling Real Estate Group, owner of the roughly 30,000-square-foot property, which added roughly 1,000 square feet of leasable space during the renovation.
Other members of the project team include Nabih Youssef Associates, HLB Lighting, Amelect, Inc., WM Group West, Troller Mayer Associates, Inc. and Cal-City Construction.
