Local developer RBM of California is putting the finishing touches on a mixed-use apartment building in the Pico-Robertson community.

The seven-story development, located at 8590 W. Pico Boulevard, features 36 studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments - including three units reserved for very low-income households - above 1,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.  Amenities include a fitness center, a rooftop deck, and a recreation room.

The building, which was designed by Santa Monica-based DE Architects, adheres closely to conceptual renderings.  However, the project's real-life appearance reflects some changes from architectural plans approved in 2016.

A leasing website advertises availabilities starting in January 2019.

RBM of California is also behind a similar development planned on Motor Avenue in Palms.
