Slightly over one year after breaking ground one block from Metro's North Hollywood Station, the mixed-use Micropolitan at Chandler has unveiled itself to the world.

Located at at the northwest corner of Chandler Boulevard and Tujunga Avenue, the seven-story building will feature 82 apartments atop 1,000 square feet of ground-level retail space and an underground parking garage.  Plans also call for amenities such as a swimming pool and a rooftop deck.

The nearly finished product closely resembles architectural renderings produced by the Santa Monica-based firm KFA.

The project is one of several large develoments now taking form near North Hollywood Station, including a two-building apartment complex from Greystar Real Estate Partners.  These podium-type developments lay the groundwork for a potentially transformative project on the station's park-and-ride lot.

Micropolitan recently wrapped up construction on a similar development in Larchmont Village, and has broken ground on an additional project on Fairfax Avenue.
