In Studio City, construction has come to a close at 11036 Moorpark Street, site of a new multifamily residential building from Los Angeles-based developer Frost/Chaddock.

The project, called Vida Studio City, consists of a five-story edifice featuring 96 apartments - including eight very low-income affordable units - above a semi-subterranean parking garage.

A leasing website advertises a mix of one- and two-bedroom floor plans, with monthly rents ranging from $2,352 to $3,600 per month.

Reed Architectural Group designed the linear podium-type building, which is accompanied by a rooftop terrace deck and a rear-facing yard with a swimming pool.

A certificate of occupancy for the apartment complex is currently pending, according to city records.

Frost/Chaddock has recently built a similar 88-unit apartment complex in Larchmont, and has long sought approvals for a trio of mixed-use housing and commercial projects in Silver Lake.
