CIM Group has completed construction of The Sycamore, a mixed-use project just east of La Brea Avenue in Hollywood.

Located at the southwest corner of Sycamore Avenue and Romaine Street, the project consists of a three-level, 67,000-square-foot office building seated atop a five-story parking podium lined with ground-floor retail.

LOHA designed the mid-rise structure, which was granted its certificate of occupancy in May 2019.

The Los Angeles Business Journal reported last year that Sirius XM Holdings Inc. - the company behind Sirius XM satellite radio - will establish its West Coast programming headquarters in The Sycamore.  Building permits indicate that the 27,000-square-foot space is currently under construction.

CIM Group is building a similar eight-story development on the opposite side of Sycamore Avenue, and is also in the process of rehabilitating a collection of adjacent warehouses to serve as commercial space.

Next door to The Sycamore, McFit Global Group is converting a 1930s building at the intersection of Romaine Street and La Brea Avenue into a 58,000-square-foot athletic club.
