A property at 19336-19360 W. Ventura Boulevard may be redeveloped as a residential-retail complex, according to a document from the Tarzana Neighborhood Council.

The nearly one-acre site, located at the southwest corner of Ventura and Aura Avenue, is currently improved with a car wash and a small commercial building.  The developer, who is not named in document, intends to raze those buildings to construct a multi-story apartment complex with 10,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.

Additional details about the proposed building are currently unclear.  It has not been officially filed with the Los Angeles Planning Department.

Ownership records link to the property to Yarcoh Investment, a limited liability company based in Van Nuys.

The project will be presented to the the Tarzana Neighborhood Council's Land Use Committee on January 17.
