Immediately east of Metro's Pico Station, a two-tower development by Vancouver-based Onni Group has passed the halfway mark at its vertical climb.

The Hope + Flower complex, which wraps an office building at 1212 Flower Street, will consist of buildings rise 40 and 31 stories in height.  At completion, plans call for 730 rental apartments atop 8,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space and parking for up to 830 vehicles.

The larger of the two buildings, located at the corner of Hope and 12th Streets, now stands more than 24 stories above-grade.  The smaller building, fronting Flower Street, has reached its 20th floor above ground.

Chris Dikeakos Architects is designing the glass-and-steel structures, which will be connected by a joint podium and amenity deck.

Completion of Hope + Flower is anticipated in 2019.

The project is the third multi-tower development to rise at the intersection of 12th and Flower Streets, joining Oceanwide Plaza and Circa.
