This week the West Hollywood Planning Commission is scheduled to review a proposed condominium complex just north of the Sunset Strip.

The project, which comes from Abady Holdings Corporation of Beverly Hills, calls for razing a trio of small residential buildings at 1120-1124 Larrabee Street to allow for the construction of a four-story edifice featuring 22 one-, two-, and three-bedroom condominiums.  Plans call for 17 market-rate housing units - averaging 1,176 square feet in size - and five units priced at the low- and moderate-income levels.

R&A Architecture + Design is designing the low-rise structure, which would feature an exterior of white stucco and metal panels.  Plans also call for amenities such as an outdoor pool deck and basement parking for 39 vehicles.

A staff report to the Planning Commission recommends that the Larrabee Street development receive approval.

Other R&A projects in West Hollywood include the nearly-finished Harland condominiums and a mixed-income apartment complex that recently broke ground on Fairfax Avenue.
