In Beverly Grove, wood framing is now rising above street level at 725 Croft Avenue, site of another multifamily residential project from local developer Etco Homes.

In late 2019, the Beverly Hills-based firm broke ground on the four-story, 31-unit project, which spans an L-shaped property fronting both Croft Avenue and Alfred Street to the north of Melrose Avenue.  Plans call for a mix of traditional flats and townhome-style condominiums.

Designed by Kevin Tsai Architecture, the project will consist of two buildings separated by a landscaped courtyard.  Renderings depict contemporary low-rise structures clad in stucco and textured red brick.

Etco Homes, which is among the more prolific developers of infill condominium projects in Los Angeles County, has been particularly active in the Beverly Grove community.  The company is now wrapping up work at The Addison and The Ainsley, two similar developments on Croft Avenue and Sweetzer Street.  Elsewhere in the neighborhood, construction is now in full swing on Hamel Avenue for a third project, consisting of 37 dwellings above parking.

Outside of Beverly Grove, Etco Homes is also in the midst of construction on condominiums in Downtown Los Angeles and its hometown of Beverly Hills.  Past developments include projects in Del Rey and Pasadena.
