Nearly one year after breaking ground in Koreatown, a mixed-use development from Jamison Services, Inc. is making steady progress at Vermont Avenue and James M. Wood Boulevard.

The project, located at the southeast corner of the intersection, will consist of a six-story building featuring 193 apartments above 19,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space and 249 basement parking stalls.  In exchange for Transit Oriented Communities incentives, a total of 20 apartments will be reserved for rent by extremely low-income households upon completion.

LARGE Architecture is designing the podium-type building, which will be clad in a combination of metal panels and plasters.  Architectural plans show common amenities throughout the building, including a rooftop deck.

The apartment complex is on pace for completion in 2021.

Jamison's development, one of dozens the company has planned or under construction in Koreatown, sits across James M. Wood Boulevard from a new structure containing a supermarket, office space, and parking.
