A collection of small warehouses in Highland Park are slated for redevelopment, according to a filing yesterday with the City of Los Angeles.

The project, located at 6040 N. Figueroa Street, calls for razing two existing warehouses to make for a 43,000-square-foot mixed-use campus.  Proposed new construction would include a three-story building containing 1,200 square feet of retail space, 8,500 square feet of joint live/work quarters, and 6,900 square feet of covered parking.  A larger five-story building would contain an additional 14,000 square feet of joint live/work quarters, as well as 3,000 square feet of covered parking.

Additional details are currently unclear based on the project's case filing.

The development site is located three blocks east of the Gold Line's Highland Park Station.
