In May 2019, the Los Angeles LGBT Center announced the completion of the initial component of its Anita May Rosenstein Campus in Hollywood. Now, affordable and supportive housing is rising on two adjacent properties.
The first phase of the project, located at the intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and McCadden Place, includes both the LA LGBT Center's administrative offices as well as supportive services for clients.
New construction across the street at 1119 N. McCadden Place consists of a five-story edifice which will feature 35 units of affordable housing reserved for homeless youth.
The other ongoing project, fronting the Las Palmas Avenue site of the property, consists of a six-story edifice which will contain 100 units of senior affordable housing.
The $141-million Anita May Rosenstein Campus is located just west of AvalonBay Communities' immense AVA Hollywood apartment complex, which is also under construction.
