After two years of construction, Irvine-based developer Mayer Corp. is putting the finishing touches on the new Hyatt House hotel at the USC Health Sciences Campus

Located at the northeast corner of San Pablo and Alcazar Streets, the five-story building contains 200 guest room, 14,000 square feet of ground-floor retail, and an 18,000-square-foot conference facility. 

The contemporary podium-type building, designed by AHT Architects, also includes a swimming pool and a 310-car garage. 

The Hyatt House, which will serve visitors to the nearby Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center, is flanked to the north and east by neighors two graduate student housing facilities built by American Campus Communities.
