Halfway through the construction process, a more refined look has emerged for the La Brea Regency Lofts, an upcoming residential-retail complex near the Hollywood & Highland Center.

Artistic renderings by local architecture firm OML Consultants portray a modern five-story structure, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies.  The project, located on a .37-acre property at 1616 North La Brea Avenue, will consist of 56 apartments and and 9,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and restaurant space when completed.

The residential complex is located one block south of La Brea's intersection with Hollywood Boulevard, where developers LeFrak and Kennedy Wilson intend to construct a $150 million project highlighted by a 26-story tower.
