Located at the southeast corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Magnolia Avenue, the $25.4-million development will consist of a four-story edifice featuring 40 apartments, on-site amenities, and supportive services.

A staff report to the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee indicates that the apartments will cater to formerly homeless households earning below 50 percent of the area median income.  Rents will be set at $979 per month - inclusive of utilities.

Withee Malcolm Architects is designing the contemporary low-rise structure, while Sun Country Builders is serving as its general contractor.

The Long Beach Post reports that construction is scheduled to be completed in 2021.

Linc Housing is also developing a similar project roughly a half-mile east at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Long Beach Boulevard.
