A year-and-a-half after breaking ground, construction is topped out for CityView's new mixed-use apartment complex in Culver City.

Located at the southeast corner of Washington and Inglewood Boulevards, the Haven apartments consist of a five-story edifice which will contain 97 studio and one-bedroom dwellings - including four units of affordable housing - with 15,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space and 200 basement parking spaces.

The podium-type building is being designed by PK Architecture.  Renderings portray a contemporary low-rise structure, with apartments wrapping around a central courtyard.

The project sits directly across the street from the Oliver apartments, a similar mixed-use building which opened in 2015.

CityView has emerged as one of the more prolific builders of rental housing Los Angeles County, with recent projects including a 174-unit apartment complex in Warner Center and a 346-unit building in Koreatown.
