Los Angeles-based CORBel Architects has unveiled a rendering for a proposed mixed-use development in Warner Center

The project, known as Yaya Vanowen, would rise from an approximately 28,000-square-foot property located at 21121 Vanowen Street.  Plans call for a seven-story building that would feature 101 residential units above approximately 3,800 square feet of street-level retail space and basement parking.

According to a representative of CORBel, the project is being designed in a contemporary style, incorporating open-space amenities such as a fitness room and a roof garden.

Yaya Vanowen, LLC - the entity behind the project - hopes to achieve LEED Silver certification for the apartments.
