The five-story structure, which is being built by Hudson Pacific Properties, will consist of approximately 128,000 square feet of office space at the corner of Seward and Romaine Streets.

RCH Studios designed the mid-rise structure, which has an airy, greenhouse-like exterior giving way to a series of terrace decks and stairways.

Hudson Pacific Properties acquired Sunset Las Palmas Studios - then known as Hollywood Center Studios - for approximately $200 million in 2017.  At the time of the purchase, it was reported that the Brentwood-based developer was planning to add up to 575,000 square feet of office space to the campus.

The Harlow development follows a tried and true formula for Hudson Pacific, which also owns Sunset Bronson and Sunset Gower Studios.

In recent years, the Sunset Bronson Studios campus has added more than 700,000 square feet of office and production space, the bulk of which is located in a pair of mid-rise office towers.

Future plans for the Sunset Gower campus could expand its offerings by more than 300,000 square feet - much of which would rise in an 18-story tower fronting Sunset Boulevard.

Sunset Las Palmas Studios sits south across Santa Monica Boulevard from AvalonBay Communities' 695-unit AVA Hollywood apartments, and just east of the Los Angeles LGBT Center's Anita May Rosenstein Campus.
