Just four months after our last update, construction has topped out at the Entrada office complex in Culver City, and the building's glass exterior is now climbing its concrete superstructure.

Located at 6163 Centinela Avenue, the roughly $225-million development is being built by LPC West - the West Coast arm of Lincoln Property Company.  Together with its partner, Broad Street Principal Investments, LPC West is building an 11-story building which will feature roughly 280,000 square feet of offices for rent above a podium structure containing a 1,000-car garage and ground-floor retail.

The rectangular mid-rise structure is being designed by Gensler, which used a shifted mass on its upper floors to create a common amenity deck for tennants.  Plans also call for stepped terraces carved into the side of the building.

Construction of the Entrada is on pace for completion in 2021.

The development site is located on the Culver City-Los Angeles border, and abuts a former automobile dealership which has recently been converted into an Amazon delivery center.

Other large office projects in the neighborhood are located within the Playa Vista neighborhood, including a 160,000-square-foot complex at the Water's Edge campus which is partially leased by Nike.

The Entrada is one of two office buildings now being developed by LPC West in Culver City.  The other, located across the street from Metro's Culver City Station, is slated to become the new home of Apple's content division.
