A staff report to the Beverly Hills Architecture Commission reveals a revised design for a condo complex now under construction at 9200 Wilshire Boulevard.

The project, which replaced a surface parking lot, is a joint venture between SHVO, Bilgili Group, and Deutsche Finance.  Work began in late 2019 for the seven-story development, which will include 54 condominiums and 6,650 square feet of ground-floor retail space upon completion.

The revised design by MVE + Partners is described as an "upgrade" to the project's finishes and landscaping.  Under the proposed plans, the mid-rise structure would be clad in a combination of limestone, travertine, white painted steel, and glass.

A street-level courtyard fronting Wilshire Boulevard has also been tweaked to include more substantial landscaping and a gate - two additions that may reduce the openness of the space to the public, according to the staff report.

Other open space features, including a series of rooftop features, remain unchanged.

Construction is expected to conclude in the third quarter of 2021.
