Prolific local developer Jamison Services, Inc. continues to make progress on its first apartment complex in Hollywood.

For nearly a year, the Koreatown-based firm has been hard at work on a six-story, 224-unit development spanning between Las Palmas and Cherokee Avenues just north of Hollywood Boulevard.  The project will offer a mix of studio, one-, and two-bedroom dwellings - including 24 to be set aside as affordable housing at the very low-income level - with approximately 1,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.

Withee Malcolm Architects is the project's architect of record, building off of entitlement work by Belzberg Architects.  The contemporary podium-type building will feature a swimming pool and a fitness center.

Jamison, which is best known for its slew of mixed-use and multifamily projects in Koreatown, purchased the site from Champion Real Estate Company, the developer which entitled the property for apartments.

The project is rising directly across the street from the Line Lofts, a similar development that was completed last year.
