A year after breaking ground, Hanover Company is ramping up construction at a new multifamily residential complex in Westchester.

The Hanover Sepulveda development, which replaced a self storage facility at 6711 S. Sepulveda Boulevard, will consist of an eight-story building containing 180 studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments above a 210-car garage.  A total of 15 apartments are to be set aside as very low-income affordable housing, according to plans approved by the City of Los Angeles.

TCA Architects is designing the project, which describes its front-facing facade as being composed of stone veneer and wood-toned siding.  A rear amenity deck faces away from Sepulveda Boulevard along the western property line.

Completion of the apartment complex is expected in 2021.

The development site abuts a similar project now under construction at 6733 S. Sepulveda Boulevard, which will consist of a five-story structure containing 176 apartments.

Less than a half-mile north of the two apartments buildings, developer LPC West broke ground last year on an 11-story, 280,000-square-foot office complex in Culver City.

In addition to Hanover Sepulveda, Hanover Company is currently in the midst of construction at new apartment complexes in Hollywood and Warner Center.
