Eight months after beginning work, the renovation of a 113-year-old warehouse in Downtown's Arts District continues. 

The project, which comes from Los Angeles-based RYDA, involves a four-story structure at the corner of 3rd Street and Traction Avenue.  The building was originally designed and built by the Richards-Neustadt Construction Company in 1905 following the arrival of the Union Pacific Railroad.

Abrahamson Teiger Architects has reimagined the property for modern uses by activating previously empty rooftop areas and alleyways as amenity spaces for residential and commercial tenants.  The property includes four live/work apartments in addition to 40,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space.

Completion is anticipated sometime before the end of 2018.

RYDA has previously rehabilitated a five-story office building on the Broadway corridor.
