Developer Jacob Stark is going back to the Mid City West Community Council's Planning and Land Use Committee with a revised proposal to construct a multifamily residential complex in Beverly Grove.

The project, as originally proposed, had called for a six-story building to replace a car wash at 411-431 N. La Cienega Boulevard with a six-story structure known as Solstice, featuring 96 rental apartments and 14,000 square feet of ground-floor retail uses.  The revised plan now calls for a smaller five-story building, featuring 72 residential units and no commercial space.

The updated plan reduces the total number of affordable units from nine to eight, while moving many of the proposed open space amenities to the building's ground floor.

Killefer Flammang Architects remains the architect for Solstice, with an updated rendering portraying a similar look and feel to the original proposal.

Additional details about the project are currently unclear.
