A parking lot at 320 Alamitos Avenue in Long Beach is expected to give way for a mixed-use development, according to a recent agenda from the city's Planning Commission.

The .58-acre site, located on the east side of Downtown Long Beach, would yield a seven-story building featuring 77 dwelling units and a four-level, 105-stall parking garage.

The property is listed in the portfolio of Urbana Development, a Long Beach-based firm which is a partner on a proposed $154-million project at 3rd Street and Broadway.  An elevation plan posted to the Urbana website indicates that their development at Alamitos would feature office space at the first and second levels of the building.

Additional details about the project are unclear.
