Jamson Services, Inc. - Koreatown's largest commercial landlord - is moving forward with plans to convert another of its mid 20th-century office buildings into apartments.

The latest project involves a six-story, 78,000-square-foot building at 3921 Wilshire Boulevard, which was completed in the late 1950s.  According to a filing with the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety, plans call for approximately 108 residential units within the mid-rise structures.

Local architecture and planning firm Archeon International is designing the project, according to city records.

The 3921 Wilshire project is the fifth Koreatown office building that Jamison has converted to apartments, starting with the completion of the Westmore in 2013.  Ongoing construction at the mid-rise buildings at 3345, 3350 and 3540 Wilshire will create an additional 540 residential units.
