In Inglewood, new townhomes continue to rise at the former site of Daniel Freeman Hospital.

The latest project, called Axis at Grace Park, is being developed by Los Angeles-based homebuilder KB Home.  Plans call for the construction of a series of 55 three-story townhomes in a series of attached structures.

According to a sales website, Axis will offer a mix of three-bedroom floor plans ranging between 2,021 and 2,355 square feet in size.  Each will feature a two-car garage.

Sales prices for the townhomes will start in the mid-$800,000s.

The 18-acre property formerly occupied by Daniel Freeman Hospital is entitled for the construction of more than 200 single-family homes.  Two separate projects, totaling 105 residential units, are now being built by Pulte Homes.
