After just over one year of construction, Meta Housing Corporation has completed an affordable housing development in Exposition Park.

The Metro @ Western apartments, located four blocks north of Metro's Expo/Western Station, consists of a four-story building offering 32 apartments - including 16 permanent supportive housing units - reserved for households making at or below 30 to 50 percent of the area median income.

The mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom dwellings will rent at rates between $488 and $1,354 per month.

The approximately $20-million development was designed by The Architects Collective, and features a rear-facing courtyard at the western property line for use by residents.

Affordable housing developments have recently been build at the the Expo/Vermont and Expo/Crenshaw stations as well.
