A new development of small lot homes is on the way in Valley Village.

IHP Capital Partners and Williams Homes have formed a joint venture for the construction of a 26 single-family dwellings on U-shaped site at the intersection of Hermitage Avenue and Weddington Street.  The project will feature floor plans between 1,173 and 2,079 square feet, with up to four bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, and two-car garages.

WHA Architects is designing the currently unnamed development, which will consist entirely of three-story structures.

"We've had great success in working with Williams Homes in the past," said Jeff Enes, Senior Vice President of IHP.  "They understand the San Fernando Valley market as well as any homebuilder in the industry."

Sales prices for the houses are expected to start in the $800,000s when construction is completed in 2021.

The project site is located within walking distance of an Orange Line stop at Laurel Canyon Boulevard, and just east of the site of a new mixed-use development at Chandler Boulevard and Whitsett Avenue.

Williams Homes is currently building a simlar small lot development in San Pedro.
