After more than one year of construction, the concrete and wood frame of a new apartment complex is taking shape at the corner of 4th Street and Normandie Avenue in Koreatown. 

The project, which is being built by Jamison Services, Inc., will consist of a seven-story building featuring 224 rental apartments in addition to amenities. 

The podium-type building is being designed by Withee Malcolm Architects.  Plans call for a contemporary look, and amenities such as a pool deck and a fitness center. 

Construction of the development as 411 Normandie is expected to conclude in late 2019, according to general contractor Wilshire Construction, LP.

Jamison Services, long the largest private office landlord in Koreatown, has more recently emerged as one of its most prolific developers.  The 411 Normandie development is one of several ongoing and proposed multifamily residential projects the company currently has planned or under construction in the neighborhood.
