In Koreatown, the wood-and-concrete frame of a multifamily residential development from Jamison Services, Inc. is now topped out at the intersection of 4th Street and Normandie Avenue.

The project, which replaced a parking lot at 411 S. Normandie Avenue, consists of a seven-story building featuring 224 apartments and amenities such as a swimming pool and a fitness center.

Withee Malcolm Architects designed the contemporary podium-type building, which consists of five levels of wood-frame construction above a two-story podium.

General contractor Wilshire Construction, L.P. has previously anticipated that construction would conclude in late 2019.

Two blocks east, a six-story, 82-unti apartment complex is planned at the intersection of 4th Street and Alexandria Avenue.
